Even in times of Corona, despite all the requirements, which from my point of view have all been observed, very friendly and courteous employees. Food was very good. Good price-performance ratio.

We were let in without prior notice ... is not typical for the region. The service was very polite and always asked how we were doing. An inn is also not a restaurant and therefore cannot be compared. But we didn't miss anything for an inn. The food was good and the Käsespätzle weren't too hearty. You can make everything a little more modern, but honestly, the food doesn't taste better either.

This is our first time in Walchensee. We discovered this wonderful rustic restaurant while biking. We were served quickly and in a friendly manner. We felt very comfortable. We had fresh whitefish from the Walchensee, there was potatoes with butter and a fresh salad with a delicious salad sauce was served beforehand. Since we were still hungry, we ordered cheese spaetzle, and there was also a salad beforehand. The cheese spaetzle were freshly made and cooked. We are thrilled! Moderate prices and delicious freshly cooked food. We liked it very much. Thank you so much!

The waitress serving outside should be friendlier, the portions were too small for the price - putenrahmschnitzel max 100 g. Meat. In short, a portion that cannot be eaten. Plus for the view of the walchensee

Well, where do I start? The food ... When we arrived I was looking forward to a typical Bavarian snack at lunchtime, which I could have done at home, a little loveless. Well then as a vegetarian it is quite monotonous and so I had the same breakfast for 7 days. There was only 1 type of cheese and tomatoes. Butter expired. Also what you saw at lunch and dinner - more than loveless. On the faces of the guests you could see that the food wasn't exactly good. So we only ate out. The first 3 days I found the boss very nice, but somehow I had the feeling that her niceness deteriorated over the days. There were others Only little things are a bit too much here. The cleaning ladies get 1 star, they were very friendly and very clean.

Service friendly, food disaster. Ordered a rump steak for € 16.80 and was happy about the low price in the good location. However, the reason then came: Meat was extremely thin and well done instead of medium.

We wore looking for a nice place to have a coffee and cake after our lunch and we find this nice place. Well organized in this Corona times. The waitress was friendly and in control of everything. The coffee and cakes wore delicious and the prices ok.

My wife and I were eating at Gasthof Edeltraut. I have to say, the condition of a gentleman was simply top class! Service very clean and quick. We sat right in front of the lake and the beautiful mountains. The food was very tasty and also worth the price. We felt in good hands and nothing else. I recommend Gasthof Edeltraut to everyone.

We have now been here for a week for vacation and we enjoyed it very much. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel, but a very nice and cozy country inn. The rooms are very clean, the staff and the bosses are incredibly nice and friendly. The food is home-style Upper Bavarian cuisine, and the view from the terrace over the lake is awesome! Of course it is also a beautiful area. All in all a very successful vacation !!!!!!!!

Very good food, the inn is located directly on the Walchensee. On the terrace you have a very nice view of the lake and the mountains beyond. The price / performance ratio is absolutely fine. Very quick and friendly service.

Conditions very friendly Food was not so good I find it too expensive for what is on the plate. Schnitzel was greasy and the cream house was watery and without champions

As beautiful as it looks from the outside & the location invites, it is only a rather comforting and loveless tourist handling. Waiters absolutely taciturn and an almost typical rugged way at the guest. The sausage salad was more of a cheap sausage carpaccio with vinegar & oil with dry bread. Unfortunately not recommended.

It was a decent restaurant that had good service and a good location. We ate the salmon and salads and it was a bit bland but might be one of the better places near this area.
